Dead Rabbit Brawler Tees

The Dead Rabbits were a notorious Irish-American gang that roamed the streets of old New York in a notorious slum known as the Five Points. It was a time when only the tough could survive.

Personal grievances, business competition, and even political differences were often settled with fists.

The Dead Rabbits’ nemesis would be a Nativist gang known as the Bowery Boys. Violence was golden as America struggled to define itself, but the struggle helped shape the character of the USA, and came to define the hard-working, hard-fighting, hard-drinking American immigrant.

THERE ARE TWO STYLES OF BRAWLER TO CHOOSE FROM:

A couple of notes on the design: The five pointed intersection in lower Manhattan that was the "Five Points" created a triangular plot that became known, sarcastically, as "Paradise Square." The Five Points' voting district was known as "The Old Sixth Ward."  Five points is credited as the birthplace of tap dancing, where Irish Jigs met African rhythms. This same cultural fusion would create the musical pre-cursors to American Jazz and Rock and Roll. So while Five Points is often known for it's immigrants, it really could be considered the birthplace of much of American culture.
